The Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, said in a Tv interview yesterday, Sunday, July 31, 2022, that he considers Tunisia a brotherly country in the fullest sense of the word, and Algeria does only remember everfything positive about the Tunisian people.

He added that the President Kais Saied is not in conflict with the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT in French), and that Algeria had previously experienced the same conditions that followed the “blessed Tunisian revolution” - according to Tebboune's description.

Tebboune said that Algeria is committed to standing by its sister Tunisia, stressing that Algeria does not interfere in Tunisian internal affair and that the solution in Tunisia can only be a purely Tunisian.

The Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune concluded his speech on the Tunisian situation, saying: “My dear brother Kais Saied is a symbol of legitimacy, and I am dealing with those who represent legitimacy since he is directly elected by the people.”
