
The Algerian Prime Minister Receives the Tunisian Minister of Interior
The Algerian Prime Minister, Nadir Larbaoui, received the Minister of Interior of the Republic of Tunisia, Kamal Feki, today, Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at the Government Palace.
Feki is on a working visit to Algeria within the framework of the first session of the Joint Committee for the Development and Promotion of Common Border Regions, according to a statement by the Tunisian Interior Ministry.
During the meeting, both sides expressed their satisfaction with the depth and strength of the bonds of brotherhood and solidarity that unite the two countries and peoples, in implementation of the common will cherished by the leaders of both countries. They also highlighted common political views regarding regional and international issues.
The outcomes of the first session of this bilateral mechanism were reviewed, with emphasis on the joint commitment to implementing its outcomes and enhancing the level of bilateral cooperation, especially in the common border areas. This is aimed at establishing an effective and enduring partnership between the two countries, as well as enhancing bilateral security cooperation, in the service of common interests, added the Tunisian Interior Minister.
The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Interior, Local Communities, and Urban Development, Ibrahim Murad.
