The Central Bank of Tunisia signs a loan agreement of $700 million

)Egypt) - Today, Wednesday, April 20, 2022, the Governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia, Marwen Abbassi, and the Executive Vice President of the African Export-Import Bank (Afriximbank), Georges Illombe, signed on a loan agreement that worths 700 million US dollars.

This loan, signed by the Central Bank of Tunisia for and on behalf of the Republic of Tunisia, is part of the mobilization of external resources included into the state budget for the year 2022.

This loan will be repaid over 7 years, including two years of grace, at an interest rate of 5.76% annually.
