The Head of the Tunisian Parliament, Ibrahim Bouderbala, received today, Monday, May 22, 2023, at the Palace of Bardo, the Palestinian Ambassador in Tunis, Hayel Fahoum.

Bouderbala stressed "the strength of the Tunisian-Palestinian relations and the common desire to further expand them in the light of the historical bonds that unite the two peoples.”

He also reaffirmed Tunisia's unwavering position on the Palestinian cause and its continued support for the Palestinian people in their legitimate struggle to regain their right to independence and determine their future, according to a statement by the Tunisian Parliament.

He added that Tunisia is constantly following the developments in the occupied Palestinian territories.

For his part, the Palestinian Ambassador expressed his country's appreciation for Tunisia’s full support for the rights of the Palestinian people and their efforts to regain their legitimate rights.

The Palestinian Ambassador gave an overview of the latest developments in Palestine and the illegitimate practices of the Occupation.
