Yesterday, Tuesday, May 24, 20022, the Tunisian Minister of National Defense Mr.Imad Memmish met at the Officers Club in La Goulette, a delegation from the US Congress, on the sidelines of the opening of the activities of the Multilateral Naval Exercise ‘Phoenix Express 2022’ hosted by Tunisia from May 22 to June 3 in cooperation with the US command, AFRICOM and the US Naval Forces Command for Europe.

This meeting was devoted to examining the means to further develop the military cooperation between Tunisia and the United States of America in areas of common interest, and the upcoming events in the areas of military cooperation such as the Multilateral Naval Exercise ‘Phoenix Express’ and the African Lion exercise, in addition to the subject of social caring for the retired soldiers and the families of the deceased among them.
