Six illegal crossing attempts were thwarted on Saturday night by the coast guard of the midland and Sahel districts, the spokesperson for the National Guard said on Sunday.

A total of 108 undocumented immigrants, including 94 of different nationalities, were rescued. The boats and marine engines were seized.
