
The port of Sousse receives the first cruise after 10 years
Yesterday, Tuesday, May 3, 2022, Sousse received, at its commercial port, a tourist cruise with about 75 tourists of different European nationalities on board, according to the regional delegate for tourism in Sousse, Taoufik Al-Gaied.
In a statement to TAP, Al-Gaied added that this trip comes under the framework of the resumption of the first cruises at the commercial port of Sousse, after the port stopped to receive tourists for 10 years.
The regional delegate for tourism in Sousse also said that the program for tourists, who are distinguished by a high level of spending, includes a tour at the ancient city of Sousse.
The program includes tourist trips to Kairouan and El Jem, as well, to get acquainted with the Tunisian distinguished cultural and civilizational reserves. The ship will continue its journey the day after, May 4, towards the port of La Goulette, to visit Tunis and its various cultural and touristic components.
It is expected that two flights will come in June, the first with 660 tourists, the second with 470 tourists, and two other flights in September 2022, each carrying more than 400 tourists.
