The Tunisian Ministry of Transport stated today, April 22, 2022, on its Facebook page, that the whole runway of the International Airport of Tozeur-Nefta was reopened for the public air flights, after the ending of the night works and the rest of the civil engineering works, so that the airport is able to receive all types of aircraft, especially the large ones, which were not able to use the airport until after obtaining an exceptional license.

It should be noted that the night works that were done are characterized by technical features that are the latest in the world, in addition to the privacy of energy saving. Noting that receiving the entire project will take place within two months, after the completion of the aircraft parking works.
