
The temperature reaches 50 °C : Civil Protection warns and offers advice
Today, Thursday, June 2, 2022, the Civil Protection issued a warning notice due to the high temperatures during the coming days between 40 and 50 degrees Celsius, and the appearance of cumulus clouds causing muffles in the air in most areas.
It called on car owners to empty their cars from:
1- Gaseous substances.
2- Lighters.
3- Soft drinks.
4- Perfumes and device batteries in general.
5- The car windows should be slightly opened
6- Not filling the car's fuel tank completely.
7- Filling car fuel in the evening shift.
8- Not to travel by car in the morning.
9- Not to overfill car tires, especially when traveling.
It also called on citizens to pay attention to scorpions and snakes, which will come out of their burrows significantly and may enter farms and homes to search for more chilly environments .
- Drink a lot of water and fluids.
- Be careful not to turn on the water heater.
- Be careful not to place gas cylinders in the sun.
- Ensure that the electricity meters are not overloaded and that the air conditioners are not operated except in the places where the family is located, especially during times of peak heat.
- Avoid direct exposure to the sun, especially during the period from 10 AM until 3 PM
