
The Tunisian FM in two-day working visit to Japan
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad stated that the Minister, Mr.Othman Jerandi is making a two-day working visit to Japan starting from June 2.
The visit is an opportunity to review the bilateral relations and ways to develop them, including the sectors of scientific research and technology and renewable energy, according to the statement of the Ministry.
It will also be an opportunity to strengthen trade relations and investment between the two countries and accordingly encourage both countries’ businessmen to explore new areas for cooperation.
In the light of the upcoming Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD8), scheduled for August 27 and 28, 2022, in Tunisia, the two sides will review the final preparations to provide the best conditions for the success of this major event.
The Minister will hand over an invitation from the President of the Republic Mr.Kais Saied to the Japanese Prime Minister to visit Tunisia for the Summit.
