The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad stated that the Minister, Mr. Othman Jerandi, received today, January 5, 2023, the new Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, Mrs. Iman Ahmed Al-Salami, who handed him a copy of her credentials as Ambassador of her country to Tunisia.

The Minister expressed his wishes for the Emirati Ambassador to succeed in her duties, stressing the ministry's readiness to provide all appropriate conditions that enable her to perform her duties to the fullest. He also touched on the depth of the fraternal ties between Tunisia and the UAE and the determination to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields and to take advantage of the capabilities and opportunities available in the two brotherly countries, especially in the promising fields.

For her part, the Emirati Ambassador expressed her pride in her appointment as head of her country's diplomatic mission in Tunisia, stressing her determination to further develop the strong relations between the two countries and expand areas of cooperation and partnership, in the service of the common interest between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
