The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad stated that the Minister Mr. Nabil Ammar, received today, Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at the ministry’s headquarters, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain in Tunisia, Mr. Francisco Javier Puig Saura, who congratulated his recent appointment by Mr. President of the Republic.

The meeting was an opportunity to underline the historical ties of friendship between Tunisia and Spain and the common will to further develop them in the light of the bilateral forthcoming meetings at the highest level between the senior officials of the two countries.

Spain's support for cooperation between Tunisia and the European Union, as well as the importance of working to further promote Euro-Mediterranean cooperation in the interest of the peoples of the region, were also highlighted during this meeting, according to the same source.
