The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad stated that the Minister Mr. Nabil Ammar received today April 25, 2023, at the ministry’s headquarters, the Ambassadors of the Republic of Mali and the Argentine Republic to Tunisia.

The Tunisian Minister received, the new Ambassador of Mali to Tunisia, Mr. Moussa SORO Sy, who handed him a copy of his credentials as a new appointed ambassador of his country to Tunisia.

This meeting represented an occasion through which the Minister renewed Tunisia's keenness to further strengthen its fraternal and historical relations with the Republic of Mali and to develop cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

For his part, the Malian ambassador expressed his country's satisfaction with the distinguished historical bilateral relations and the level of fruitful cooperation between the two countries, especially in the medical and university fields, recalling the pioneering role played by Tunisian diplomacy in supporting the endeavors of Mali to join the United Nations.

Later on, the Tunisian Foreign Minister met with the Argentinian Ambassador, Mr. José Maria Arbilla, who conveyed to the Minister the greetings and congratulations of his Argentinian counterpart Mr. Santiago Cafiero.

The meeting was also an opportunity to discuss ways to further develop areas and mechanisms of cooperation between Tunisia and Argentina by taking advantage of the positive dynamism of the bilateral relations and implementing the different cooperation agreements signed between the two countries in the economic, social and technical fields.

For his part, Mr. Ammar stressed Tunisia's determination to give a new impetus to the cooperation and to elevate it to a level that meets the aspirations of the two countries, calling for the need to seize all cooperation opportunities available from both sides.

The Ambassador of Argentina praised the friendly relations and mutual comprehension between the two countries, underscoring Argentina's readiness to enhance and diversify the fields of cooperation with Tunisia.
