The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, immigration and Tunisians Abroad stated that the Minister Othman Jerandi, received on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania in Tunis Deman Hamar.

The meeting was an occasion to discuss bilateral cooperation, where the Tunisian Minister praised the long-standing ties between Tunisia and Mauritania, which are based on the common principles uniting the two countries, also, he stressed the necessity to maintain coordination and consultation concerning regional and international files of common interest, and to do the necessary preparations for the upcoming bilateral events, particularly the 19th High Joint Commission.

For his part, The Mauritanian diplomat emphasized the strong bilateral relations, highlighting his country's aspiration to further develop and expand them into new and promising fields, in light of the great potential available in both countries.
