
The Tunisian Head of Gvt supervised the opening of the Craft Creation Fair
According to the Press and Communication Office in the Tunisian Government, the Head of Government, Najla Bouden, supervised this Saturday morning March 19, 2022, the opening of the Craft Creation Fair at the Kram exhibition center organized by the National Office for Traditional Industries and under the supervision of the Ministry of Tourism, which will be held from 18th to 27th of March 2022.
The Head of Government was accompanied during this visit by a ministerial delegation, she was briefed on the various spaces in the fair, including the commercial pavilion, which is the most prominent pavilion during this session, with the participation of 800 exhibitors in a number of artistic and traditional crafts and professions from all regions, categories and specializations.
The Head of Government also visited the pavilion for exhibitors with special needs, in which about one hundred artisans participate, to display their products that highlight the peculiarities and richness of their destinations in the traditional and handicraft industries sector.
She was also briefed on the pavilions dedicated to displaying the products of the different Tunisian regions, in which there are more than one hundred exhibitors in the field of artistic ceramics, cloth, silk, copper, perfumes, cosmetics, jewelry, leather, traditional clothes, crystal, traditional sweets...etc
The Head of Government affirmed the state's keenness to pay more attention to the traditional and handicraft industries sector, support professionals in this field, and work to raise the sector's capabilities and support its contribution to regional and economic development.
It is important to mention that the focus during this current session will be on the commercial formula of the fair with the participation of more than a thousand exhibitors from the different governorates of the country. Also, it is expected that the number of visitors to this session will exceed one hundred thousand visitors.
