The Tunisian Minister of Health Mr. Ali Mrabet held a working session on Monday, January 31, 2023, with the Minister of Health and Prevention in the United Arab Emirates Mr. Abdul Rahman Al Oweis, in the margins of his participation in the Arab Health Conference 2023, which runs from January 30 to February 2, 2023 in Dubai.

Mr. Mrabet praised the collaboration between Tunisia and the UAE in the healthcare sector, exemplified by the surgical and emergency medical center in Jendouba, recently established with UAE's support.

The Health Minister also reaffirmed Tunisia's keenness to implement joint health initiatives, and he invited his Emirati counterpart to visit Tunisia soon.

For his part, the Emirati Minister expressed his admiration for Tunisian skilled medics, voicing his country's determination to enhance cooperation in the medical field.

Health ministers of several Arab countries, along with and stakeholders in health protection and medical services, pharmaceuticals and medical equipment and supplies are taking part in the Arab Health Conference 2023.
