
The Tunisian Minister of Health received the WHO representative
The Tunisian Minister of Health, Ali Mrabet, received yesterday, Monday, August 22, 2022, at the Ministry's headquarters, Dr. Ibrahim El-Zeik, the representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Tunisia.
The meeting was devoted to discuss the cooperation and partnership programs in the health field between Tunisia and the World Health Organization and their achievement in the best possible time, particularly the vaccine-making project and programs to combat tobacco consumption and addiction.
On this occasion, The Tunisian Minister indicated the keenness of the Ministry of Health to work with all stakeholders to make the vaccine-manufacturing project in Tunisia a success, after choosing Tunisia among six African countries by the organization to benefit from the DNA technology for the manufacture of vaccines.
From his part, Dr. Ibrahim El-Zeik expressed the WHO's keenness to continue working with the Ministry of Health for the success of cooperation and partnership programs.
