
The Tunisian Minister of Tourism: two-days working visit to Italy
The Tunisian Minister of Tourism, Mohamed El Moez Belhussein, made a working visit to Milan on April 10-11, in order to strengthen the position of the Tunisian touristic destination.
The Minister of Tourism participated in a number of activities within the International Tourism Salon in Milan and was briefed on the Tunisian pavilion participating in this event, accompanied by the Tunisian Ambassador to Italy Moez Sinaoui, representatives of the Tunisian University of Hotels, the Tunisian Federation of Travel and Tourism Agencies and the Tunisian Federation of Tourist Restaurants.
The Minister had meeting with the Italian Minister of Tourism, where an official invitation was presented to him to visit Tunisia during the upcoming period in order to sign a cooperation agreement in the field that contributes to further strengthening the distinguished relations between the both countries.
He also met the President of the Lombardy Province and Vice President of the Regional Council of the Province of Lombardy and other Italian officials, in addition to having press interviews with a number of media outlets specialized in the tourism field.
The Minister also visited the "Carlo Porta" Institute in Milan, which is considered as one of the most important training centers in the tourism professions in Italy, in order to consider the available possibilities to benefit from Italian expertise in this field.
