The Tunisian President received an invitation to the Arab Summit

The President of the Republic of Tunisia, Kais Saied, received yesterday, Thursday, September 15, 2022, Ibrahim Mourad, Minister of Interior, Local Authorities and the National Planning of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria and the Special Envoy of the Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who handed a written invitation to the Head of State to attend the next Arab League Summit to be held on 1 and 2 November 2022 in Algeria.

The Head of State welcomed this invitation and affirmed his keenness to participate in it, expressing his confidence in Algeria's ability to provide the best conditions for the success of this summit at all levels, and to lay down a new framework that would enable to  achieve the hopes and aspirations of the peoples of the region, in light of the rapid changes that the world is witnessing.

From his part, the Algerian minister indicated that his country is confident of Tunisia's effective contribution in achieving the desired goals and to make this Arab event a success and chart a better future for the peoples of the region.

The meeting also touched on the distinguished relations that unite Tunisia and Algeria in various fields, stressing the firm keenness of the two leaderships in the two countries to further develop and deepen them in the service of the bilateral common interest.
