The Presidency of the Republic of Tunisia stated that the President Kaïs Saïed received today, Monday, February 20, 2023, at Carthage Palace, the Qatari Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, special envoy of the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who conveyed to him a verbal message from the Emir of Qatar.

In this meeting, Saïed stressed Tunisia's commitment to give a new breath to the relations of exchange and investment as well as to the partnership binding the two countries, through the implementation of bilateral agreements.

For his part, the Qatari official stressed his country's readiness to provide all the support to Tunisia and to consolidate cooperation relations.
