Yesterday, Tuesday, April 19, 2022, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Israeli ambassador in Abu Dhabi to protest officially against the events taking place in both Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, including attacks on civilians and incursions into holy places.

The UAE Foreign Ministry called for the immediate cessation of all such practices and the provision of full protection for worshipers, and insisted that the Israeli authorities must respect the Palestinians' right to practice their religious rites and the cessation of any practices that violate the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, expressing concern over the escalation of tension that threatens stability and security in the region.
