The National Institute of Meteorology stated that the weather today, Thursday, August 24, 2023, will be generally sunny and cloudy in the most of the regions.

Some local thunderous cells and rains are expected in the western regions in the afternoon, with expected  hail falling in the eastern regions.

The extreme temperatures are expected to be between 32 and 36 degrees in the highlands and eastern coasts, between 35 and 39 degrees in the rest of the regions, and they can reach 41 degrees in the southwest with the appearance of local heat waves.

The winds are weak to moderate, and they get strong near the northern coasts in the afternoon.

The sea is little turbulent to undulating in Serrat in the afternoon.
