The National Institute of Meteorology has stated that the weather for today, Thursday, February 29, is expected to be cloudy with some scattered and temporary heavy rains in the western regions that will gradually cover the eastern and southern regions in the afternoon.

Winds are relatively strong between 40 and 60 km/h near the eastern coasts and the highlands, with some local sand swirls in the south and weak to moderate winds between 15 and 30 km/h elsewhere.

The sea is undulating in the north and very turbulent to rough in the Gulf of Gabes.

Temperatures are expected to decrease, ranging between 10 and 17 degrees, and around 7 degrees in the western regions.
