The National Institute of Meteorology has stated that today's weather, August 28, 2024, is expected to be heavily cloudy accompanied by some rains in the north and the center, that will locally cover the southern regions later with possible hail falling in some limited places.

Winds are forecasted to be weak to moderate, becoming relatively strong in Serrat and temporary exceeding 80 km/h with the appearance of thunderous clouds.

The sea is expected to be undulating in Serrat, and little turbulent along the rest of the coasts.

Extreme temperatures are predicted to range between 30 and 34 degrees in the north, the center and the southeast, around 28 degrees in the western highlands, and between 35 and 39 degrees elsewhere.
