A number of Algerian tourists flocked to the Maloula border crossing, expressing their happiness at the reopening of the land borders between Algeria and Tunisia, especially after two years of closure.

Algerian tourists also expressed their happiness at coming to Tunisia.

This comes after the Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune's decision to reopen the borders between the two countries, which was announced during the last visit of the Tunisian President Kais Saied to Algeria.
