
Tomorrow:Tunisia chairs the CMF in Paris
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad, announced today, Tuesday, March 15, 2022, in a statement, that the minister Othman Jerandi, will make a visit to Paris on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 in order to be at the head of the 40th session of the Francophonie Ministerial Conference that will be held with the participation of Louise Mushikiwabo, Secretary General of Francophonie, ministers and members in the international organization of Francophonie
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad, added in the same statement that Tunisia chairs the meetings of this seminar because it will host the 8th Francophonie Summit in the island of Djerba in November 2022.
This Conference works will deal with many files related to the activities of the International Organization of Francophonie, including discussing the draft unified system of Francophone institutions, following up on the implementation of the decisions taking in
the previous summit held in Armenia and preparing for the next summit in Djerba. In addition to strengthening democracy, security and combating misinformation in the media and in the virtual world.
On the occasion, Jerandi will have bilateral meetings with a number of his counterparts in order to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and consult on regional and international issues of common interest, according to the statement.
