
Tunisia and Korea Signed MoU in the Field of Information and Communication Technologies
The Ministry of Communication Technologies signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Science and ICT of Korea aimed at boosting cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies.
This partnership is meant to foster digital transformation and promote e-government services, said the Tunisian Ministry in a press release on Wednesday.
Under the terms of this MoU, signed during the 10th edition of the Global ICT Leadership Forum in Seoul, digital applications will be implemented in various sectors, including digital health, smart transportation, and education utilizing modern technologies.
Korea ranks third globally in e-governance and in using cutting-edge technologies.
The MoU will also help enhance high-speed internet networks and provide 5G services. South Korea is recognized as a leader in the deployment of 5G mobile communication services in terms of coverage and quality.
The agreement entails the exchange of expertise and the promotion of modern technologies use in the digital realm, including cloud computing, big data, the Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence (AI) systems.
