On its official Facebook page, yesterday, February 22, 2023, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad stated that Tunisia called on the international community to take urgent action to stop crimes and massacres committed by the Israeli forces in the occupied territories.

It is no longer acceptable that that these atrocities are hushed up and that their perpetrators remain unpunished while Palestinians continue to be martyred for the liberation of their homeland, the ministry added.

While firmly condemning these acts of intimidation, Tunisia calls on the international community as a whole to stop relying on tedious statements of indignation and condemnation.

The international community must shoulder its full moral and legal responsibility towards the Palestinian people until they establish their independent State with the holy city of Al-Quds as its capital, Tunisia insisted.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad further assured that the Tunisian people will stand by the brotherly Palestinian people until they recover their legitimate rights.
