The Tunisian Minister of Interior, Kamel Feki, received on Tuesday, at the headquarters of the Ministry, the Ambassador of Canada to Tunisia, Lorraine Diguer, and her accompanying delegation.

The meeting was an occasion during which the two parties discussed the status of existing cooperation between the two countries in various fields related to the interior ministries, such as cooperation in the field of neighborhood police, combating violence against women and supporting capabilities in the field of border control and management, stated the Ministry of Interior.

The meeting was an occasion to discuss enhancing cooperation in the security field by completing the requirements for preparing a draft agreement in this field, in addition to cooperation in the decentralized field between the two countries and the need to support it.

The two parties also affirmed their keenness to further support the level of cooperation and raise it to the highest levels.
