The Tunisian Minister of Equipment, Housing, and Acting Minister of Transport, Sarah Zaafrani Zenzeri, received the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Tunisia, Wan Li, on Monday, August 5, 2024, at the Ministry of Equipment.

The meeting, attended by the CEO of the Tunisian Transport Company, Abdel Raouf Al-Saleh, reviewed and discussed projects in the fields of transport, construction, and public works, aiming to strengthen Tunisian-Chinese cooperation.

Zenzeri highlighted possible areas of cooperation, particularly in developing transportation and supporting Chinese companies in executing major projects in Tunisia, as well as exploring available cooperation opportunities.

For his part, the Chinese Ambassador reaffirmed his country's readiness to support Tunisia's efforts in completing several projects in the mentioned fields, appreciating the historical friendship and cooperation between the two friendly nations.
