Tunisia strongly condemns the firing and air raids launched by the brutal occupying forces on the town of Jenin and its camp in the occupied West Bank, which have resulted in a number of Palestinian martyrs and wounded among unarmed civilians, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad said in a statement yesterday.

Tunisia calls on the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibility towards the Palestinian people, to immediately cease this repeated and systematic aggression, and to force the occupying forces to cease their flagrant violations and compel them to respect international legitimacy.

Tunisia once again expresses its full solidarity with the brotherly Palestinian people and its unwavering support in defending their just cause in order to fully recover their legitimate rights, foremost among which is their right to self-determination and the establishment of their independent State with Jerusalem as its Capital.
