Today, Wednesday, December 21, 2022, the Ministry of Interior in Tunisia stated that the Minister Tawfiq Sharafeddine received, at the Ministry headquarters, the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Tunisia, Ihab Mustafa Fahmy.

The meeting was an opportunity to emphasize the importance of the long-standing Tunisian-Egyptian relations between the two countries, and to work together in order to improve security cooperation and expand its fields.

Aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries were also discussed, especially the progress of preparations for holding the 7^th Joint Security Committee in in Tunis next February 2023, according to a statement by the Ministry of Interior in Tunisia.
