
Tunisia, Indonesia: discussing cultural cooperation
The Tunisian Minister of Cultural Affairs, Hayet Ketat Guermazi, received yesterday, June 29, 2022, the Indonesian Ambassador to Tunisia, Zuhairi Misrawi, at the Ministry headquarters.
The two sides praised the bilateral diplomatic relations between their two countries which date back to more than 60 years.
They talked about implementing exemplary projects in the fields of cultural tourism, valuing intangible heritage, benefiting from the experiences of making live spectacles in major artistic performances, traditional professions and skills, and researching ways to produce a joint historical cinematic work documenting the relations between "Jakarta and Carthage" and employing translation to bring both the Tunisian and Indonesian books closer to the reader.
They also discussed the issue of developing cultural tourism and benefiting from the pioneering experiences in the field of digital cultural economy, in order to promote the heritage and civilizational gains of both countries.
