The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad stated that the Minister Nabil Ammar received yesterday, at the ministry's headquarters, the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Iraq to Tunisia, Abdel Hakim Kassab.

During this meeting, the minister highlighted the long-standing relations between Tunisia and Iraq and the dynamic cooperation witnessed recently.

He also stressed Tunisia's keenness to further strengthen cooperation and enrich its fields, especially in view of the 17^th Session of the Joint Tunisian-Iraqi Committee chaired by the foreign ministers of the two countries.

For his part, the Iraqi Chargé d'Affaires praised the strength of the historical relations between the two countries, and he expressed his satisfaction at the level of cooperation reached between them, and highlighted his country's keenness to open new horizons for this cooperation.
