Tunisia, Korea: cooperation in E-governance & digital field

The Tunisian Ministry of Communication Technologies stated that yesterday, Monday, March 28, 2022, the Minister of Communication Technologies, Nizar Ben Neji opened with the Korean Minister of Interior and Safety, Jeon Hae-Cheol, the Tunisian-Korean Cooperation Forum in of E-governance, and with the presence of experts and officials in the digital field from both sides.

This Forum comes under the working visit of the Korean Minister of Interior and Safety and his accompanying delegation to Tunisia. During the Forum, many topics were discussed such as E-government experiences, the establishment of relevant legal and institutional systems and frameworks.

During a speech on the occasion, Nizar Ben Neji praised the stability of the Tunisian-Korean cooperative relations in the field of digitization, which resulted in many fruitful joint projects such as the TUNEPS, online public purchase system and the E-People ,electronic participation system. And he stressed the importance of this Forum, which represents an opportunity to gain new experiences and learn about successful experiences in the field of digitization.

The Minister also expressed Tunisia aspirations for more joint work to develop and strengthen partnership and cooperation between the two countries and to benefit from the leading Korean experience in the field of drone technologies, within the framework of the project of the Tunisian-Korean Integrated Center for Drones.
