Promoting Tunisian-Omani cooperation in the military field was the main subject of a meeting held today, Monday, May 16, 2022, between the Tunisian Minister of National Defense, Mr.Imad Memmish, and the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Tunisia, Mr. Yhaya Bin Moussa Al-Bakri.

According to a media statement by the ministry, the Minister of National Defense affirmed Tunisia's readiness to further promote bilateral cooperation in the military field and in the areas of common interest, such as training and the exchange of experiences.

From his part, the Omani ambassador expressed his country's readiness "to extend bridges of cooperation with Tunisia in the military field."
