Tunisia sent humanitarian aid supplies to Palestine

The Presidency of the Republic of Tunisia -Lundi 16 Octobre 2023 - 20:41

Yesterday, Sunday, Tunisia said it sent humanitarian aid supplies to Palestine via Egypt, as Israeli continues its bombardment of Gaza after a surprise attack by Hamas.

A military aircraft carrying about 12 tons of aid materials, including medicines and food, which were collected by the Tunisian Red Crescent, is on way from the capital Tunis to Egypt, the Tunisian presidency said in a statement.

More supplies will be sent in the coming days, it added.

Earlier this week, Palestinian President Kais Saied stressed the need for tangible assistance to Palestine, declaring solidarity with the Palestinian people.
