The Tunisian Government stated that today, Wednesday, December 14, 2022, the Head of Government Najla Bouden received, at Al Kasbah Palace, the New Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain in Tunis, Francisco Javier Puig Saura.

The close and special relations between the two countries were at the heart of this meeting, where the Head of Government stressed on the solid ties of friendship and praised Spain for the support given to Tunisia throughout different stages.

There must be good preparations for upcoming events, mainly the 9^th high-level meeting in Madrid, Bouden further said.

It is also of crucial importance to intensify the exchange of visits in the service of the two countries' interests.

For his part, the Spanish diplomat praised the strong relations with Tunisia and said his country is keen to continue supporting investment programs and projects as well as small and medium-sized enterprises in Tunisia.
