The Tunisian Ministry of Interior stated that the Minister Kamel Feki received today, Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at the headquarters of the ministry, the Swiss Ambassador to Tunisia, Josef Renggli, and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting represented an occasion to review the long-standing relations and distinguished partnership between the Tunisian and Swiss parties and ways to further support them in the field of bilateral cooperation and axes of common interest, in addition to exchanging views on the phenomenon of irregular migration in relation to the recently circulated fallacies and allegations regarding the ill-treatment of African migrants in the Tunisian border areas.

The two parties discussed the progress of the ongoing joint cooperation projects related to the fields of security and civil protection, and ways to support the efforts of the Tunisian security units through support with equipment and training, stated the ministry.
