
Tunisian-Brazilian Economic Forum Inaugurated
Tunisian Foreign Minister Nabil Ammar inaugurated the Tunisian-Brazilian Economic Forum, in São Paulo, yesterday, Thursday, which was attended by significant delegations of Tunisian and Brazilian businessmen.
In his speech, Ammar highlighted the forum's goal to enhance partnerships in energy, food industries, fertilizers, and tourism, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad.
Key announcements included the opening of Tunisia's first commercial and consular office in São Paulo to boost trade and support Tunisian businesses. The Minister also praised Tunisia's success at the 2024 São Paulo Association for Beverages and Food Industries exhibition.
Agreements were signed to reactivate the Tunisian-Brazilian Joint Business Council and to establish cooperation in pharmaceuticals, according to the same source.
The forum included bilateral meetings and plans for site visits to Brazilian facilities. Ammar emphasized Tunisia's commitment to fostering strong economic ties with Brazil.
