Tunisian businesswomen to attend the 5th COMFWB trade fair in Madagascar
The National Chamber of Women Entrepreneurs (CNFCE), a division of the Tunisian Confederation of Industry, Trade, and Handicrafts (UTICA), is coordinating the involvement of Tunisian businesswomen in the upcoming 5th COMESA Federation of Women in Business Trade Fair and Business Conference (5th COMFWB Trade Fair and Business Conference), scheduled for June 28-29 in Antananarivo, Madagascar.
According to a press release from CNFCE, the primary objective of this event is to introduce Tunisian businesswomen to the investment landscape and facilitate partnerships with various economic entities across the COMESA region (Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa).
Furthermore, it serves as a platform for Tunisian enterprises to acquaint themselves with investment laws and incentives in Madagascar and other COMESA member countries.
Madagascar, as highlighted by CNFCE, presents appealing investment prospects in sectors such as agriculture, tourism, and mining.
Established in July 1993 in Zimbabwe with the endorsement of the Authority comprised of Heads of States and Governments of COMESA member states, the COMESA Federation of Women in Business (COMFWB) aims to showcase the primary products and services of participating enterprises, promote trade among women entrepreneurs, and formulate policies to support women in business.
