Tunisian FM received the Ambassadors of Hungary and Russia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad stated that the Minister Mr. Nabil Ammar received today April 3, 2023, at the ministry’s headquarters, the Ambassadors of Hungary and Russia to Tunisia.

The Ambassador of Hungary, Mr. Lajos Mile congratulated the Tunisian Minister for his recent appointment by the President of the Republic.

For his part, the Minister praised the good level of friendship and cooperation existing between Tunisia and Hungary, and the steady progress these relations have witnessed during the last years.

The conversation dealt particularly with the future bilateral meetings, especially the next round of the Joint Economic Committee. Both sides stressed the importance of a good preparation of these meetings in order to further strengthen the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The Hungarian Ambassador commended the strong ties between Tunisia and Hungary, emphasizing his country’s respect of the choices of Tunisia and its people. He also expressed his will to work hard for the development of those relations for the common interest of the two friendly countries.

Later on, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad, received the Ambassador of Russia in Tunisia, Mr. Alexandre Zolotov, who congratulated him also for his recent appointment by the President of the Republic.

The meeting dealt with the bilateral cooperation between the two countries and the means to enhance them in various fields, particularly in the light of the recent telephone conversation between the two Ministers, as well as on the most important upcoming bilateral agenda.
