
Tunisian FM Received the Saudi and Algerian Ambassadors
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti, held meetings on August 27, 2024, with both Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria in Tunisia, Azouz Baalal, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Tunisia, Abdulaziz Ben Ali Al-Saqr.
During these meetings, both ambassadors conveyed their congratulations on Nafti’s recent appointment and extended best wishes for his success in his new role.
The discussions underscored the deep and fraternal relations between Tunisia and both Algeria and Saudi Arabia, stated the Tunisian Foreign Ministry.
With Algeria, the focus was on the strength of the strategic partnership between the two nations and the shared commitment to further solidify ties in various fields, following the directives of their leaders and the aspirations of their peoples.
Similarly, the meeting with the Saudi Ambassador highlighted the long-standing and historic ties between Tunisia and Saudi Arabia. Both parties expressed satisfaction with the high level of cooperation, particularly following the last session of the Tunisian-Saudi Joint Committee, and discussed the potential for further collaboration in economic, investment, and other promising areas.
