The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar, received, today, Monday, July 8, 2024, the new Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Tunisia, Zayed bin Saeed Rashid Al-Kumait Al-Khayarin, who handed him a copy of his credentials.

On this occasion, the Minister expressed his wishes to the new ambassador for success in his mission and emphasizes on the Ministry’s readiness to provide all support and necessary facilities to perform his duties in the best way, stated the Tunisian Foreign Ministry.

The meeting was an occasion to emphasize the common determination of the two countries’ leaderships to further strengthen the ties of brotherhood and cooperation and to raise Tunisian-Qatari relations to the best levels in a way that serves the interests of the two countries and responds to the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.

The meeting also touched upon the ongoing preparations for the eighth session of the Tunisian-Qatari Joint Higher Committee to be held in the upcoming period, added the Ministry.
