
Tunisian Head of Government Meets with Chairwoman of Chinese Company "CEEC"
Today, Wednesday, September 4, 2024, Tunisian Head of Government, Kamal Meouri, medouri met in Beijing with Li Lina, Chairwoman of China Energy Engineering Corporation (CEEC), responsible for international operations.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum Summit, according to a statement by the Tunisian Government.
At the outset of the meeting, the Tunisian Head of Government emphasized providing necessary facilitations and guarantees for the success of Chinese institutions in Tunisia, particularly in priority sectors such as new and renewable energies. This includes leveraging Chinese expertise and advanced technology in these fields.
In turn, Li Lina, Chairwoman of CEEC responsible for international operations, presented additional insights into the company's activities across several African countries and in Latin America.
She also expressed satisfaction with the progress of the solar power station in Kairouan, Tunisia, expressing hope for the realization of major projects in the field of renewable energies in the country, added the Tunisian Government.
