Tunisian Head of Government to attend the 37th Ordinary Session of AU Assembly in Addis Ababa

The Tunisian Head of Government, Ahmed Hachani, is attending on February 16-19 the 37th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the Heads of States and Governments of the African Union in Addis Ababa, according to a statement by the Tunisian Government.
During this session, the future of the African organization will be discussed, along with mechanisms to support joint African efforts. Progress in establishing the African region for trade exchange will also be examined.

Additionally, in this session, the year 2024 will be launched as the year of education in the continent, under the theme "Education: Africa in harmony with the twenty-first century: building robust educational systems for increased access to comprehensive and qualitative lifelong education suitable for Africa." According to the same source.

The Head of Government will meet on the sidelines of the summit with a number of heads of states, governments, and senior officials from international and regional organizations, added the Tunisian Government.
