On September 2, 2024, Ibrahim Bouderbala, President of the Tunisian Parliament, welcomed the Qatari Ambassador to Tunisia, Zayed bin Saeed Rashid Al Khayarin, at Bardo Palace.

The meeting emphasized the strong and historic ties between Tunisia and Qatar, with a focus on enhancing cooperation in economic, social, and cultural fields.

Both sides also stressed the importance of strengthening parliamentary relations and maintaining their unified stance on supporting the Palestinian cause.
