
Tunisian Interior Minister's Saudi Visit: Emphasis on Security and Education
On the occasion of his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to attend the activities of the International Defense Exhibition in Riyadh, on February 5, 2024, the Tunisian Minister of Interior, Kamel Feki, paid a field visit to the Unified Security Operations Center 911 in Riyadh. He was briefed on various modern equipment and technologies available at the operations hall, the adopted work method, intervention areas, and coordination methods between various stakeholders, according to a statement by the Tunisian Ministry of Interior.
The Tunisian Minister and the accompanying delegation also visited the Mohammed bin Nayef Center for Counseling and Care on February 6, 2024, where they toured various departments and specialties of the center and the methods of dealing with beneficiaries of the provided services.
Furthermore, Minister Feki visited Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, where he was briefed on various specialties, such as the forensic evidence laboratory, the university library, the center for studies and research, the cybercrime laboratory, the Arab Center for Technical Cooperation in Migration and Border Management, and the road safety center.
During the visit, various activities of the university and the possibility for the personnel of the Ministry of Interior to benefit from its various training activities were discussed, according to the same source.
