Eleven extremists, including a woman, wanted for "belonging to a terrorist organization" have been arrested in different regions of the country (Gabes, Zaghouan, Gafsa, Mahdia, Bizerte, Monastir, Sidi Bouzid, Tunis and Ariana), the General Directorate of the National Guard said in a statement on Friday, March 1, 2024.

Those arrested face sentences ranging from one to eight years in prison, according to the same source.
