Tunisian President Kais Saied Announces Government Reshuffle

On Sunday, Tunisian President Kais Saied carried out a significant government reshuffle, appointing new ministers to various key positions. The newly appointed officials are as follows:

  • Khaled Souheili as Minister of National Defense
  • Mohamed Ali Nafati as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad
  • Mustafa Farjani as Minister of Health
  • Samir Abdel Hafiz as Minister of Economy and Planning
  • Issam Al-Ahmar as Minister of Social Affairs
  • Samir Obaid as Minister of Trade and Export Development
  • Ezzeddine Ben Sheikh as Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Fisheries
  • Noureddine Nouri as Minister of Education
  • Mondher Belaid as Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research
  • Sadek Mourali as Minister of Youth and Sports
  • Sofiane El Hemissi as Minister of Communication Technologies
  • Rachid Amri as Minister of Transport
  • Wajdi Hadheli as Minister of State Property and Real Estate Affairs
  • Habib Obeid as Minister of Environment
  • Sofiane Taqiyya as Minister of Tourism
  • Ahmed Bouhali as Minister of Religious Affairs
  • Asma Jabri as Minister of Family, Women, Children, and Elderly
  • Amina Sarrarafi as Minister of Cultural Affairs
  • Riyadh Choued as Minister of Employment and Vocational Training

Additionally, the following Secretaries of State have been appointed:

  • Mohamed Ben Ayad as Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad
  • Hammadi Habib as Secretary of State to the Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Fisheries, in charge of Water Resources
  • Hassana Jiballah as Secretary of State to the Minister of Employment and Vocational Training, in charge of Public Enterprises
